Tim Schlesener REALTOR®
Tim and his wife, Whitney, moved to Hideaway, Texas in October of 2018 from Wichita, Kansas. They recently became “empty-nesters” and share six children and four grandkids with another on the way. Tim has a background in customer service from his five years as a lead agent with American Airlines in the Wichita, Amarillo, and Little Rock terminals. For the past 24 years though he has been running freight trains for Union Pacific Railroad, primarily in Kansas. Visiting their three granddaughters in Troup introduced them to the Tyler area and once they found Hideaway and Lindale they fell in love with the beauty of the pines and all the outdoor opportunities. They found it a perfect match for their long-term needs. Tim is an avid golfer and also enjoys fishing, kayaking, pickleball and going on walks with his chocolate lab, Chesney. He is also a huge sports fan and enjoys writing songs and personal blog stories. Tim and Whitney attend First United Methodist Church in Lindale.
Tim strives to be a person of character and integrity. He believes in doing the right things, the right way, for the right reason and loves meeting new people. “I acquired my real estate license in order to help people in the ways I have been helped. Buying a new home is the biggest investment a family will likely make. Selling a home can be an emotional journey, especially when it has been your home for a long time. I just want to see smiles on the faces of my clients on closing day, knowing that I did everything I possibly could to help them get there.”
